  • Mary Ann Hagstrom, a lifelong resident of the Taft area, has deep roots in the community. Originally from McKittrick, she moved to Taft and attended Taft High, where she graduated with the Class of 1980. Over the years, she has remained closely connected to the area, raising four Wildcats—Krystal, Martha, Hanna, and Samantha—who are all proud graduates of Taft Union High School.

Mary Ann has worked at Arc Taft for 29 years and continues to be passionate about her role there, contributing to the community she’s always called home. In 2018, she joined the Taft Union High School Board, driven by her commitment to the school and its students. Her belief is simple: Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat.
